The development scheme realised by ACTEC and its partners is due to the generosity of our donors. By giving us their support, they enable us to act to benefit the men and women who wish to live in dignity. ACTEC thus becomes an intermediary transmitting a message of solidarity between north and south.

In the north and in the south, we want everyone to have the chance to blossom thanks to his/her talents and work. “Alone, we can achieve nothing. Together, everything”. With our partners in the south, we do our utmost to faithfully pass on this message. Aware of what they have received, our donors want their counterparts in the developing countries to be able to learn a profession so that they can participate fully in society.

Our projects are also supported by public funding. The federal government of Belgium (via the DGIC) and the European Commission have recognised ACTEC as a development NGO. After an in-depth study of every project, we are provided with funds from tax-payers which enabled us to multiply the impact of our work. Co-financing together with public bodies is possible thanks to private donors. The philosophy of public co-financing is to multiply the efforts of private donors. For every euro received from a private individual, the public authorities grant us a subsidy of 4 euros enabling ACTEC to provide aid to more people.
