(…) We received a first credit of 10,000 Quetzales (+/- 1000 euros). I used it to buy maize and sesame seeds. It enabled my brother and I to make small profits and to buy an irrigation device. As we had a little experience in the production of maize hybrid seeds, we asked for another credit in order to launch a plantation. Thank God it worked (…). I just want to thank FOMAGRO and ACTEC for the opportunity they gave to us. We are really grateful because we received the credit at the right time. Agriculture is so unpredictable. Dear Sponsors, I am a student at the ISSI and my name is Lydia M'pambia. There are twelve children in my family. I am the seventh and I am 21 years old. I am Congolese in origin and nationality. I live with my father who pays for my tuition fees. He was a civil servant but no longer holds this position. For this reason, it is sometimes difficult for me to pay my tuition fees on time.

I chose the ISSI because my ambition is to become a nurse. It's a modest profession but a very important one for the sick person. It is a neglected profession in my country and the ISSI intends to upgrade it. I would like to contribute to this by my training and my future profession. I cannot stand to see people suffer and thanks to my profession, I have the possibility of helping those who are suffering.

I would like to thank you for being willing to help the students of the ISSI. I would like to show my gratitude by becoming a good nurse for my country.
